Rachel Mennies’s Distressing Vision of God

 

If, like with Rachel Mennies, “My God holds nobody responsible. He lives in the thick air over Philadelphia, likes it there, doesn’t speak to me much, if at all….” – (“The Jewish Woman in America, 2010″ (pg. 9)) it’s maybe because I don’t listen. Tomorrow I’ll listen to the wind.
